Visa Requirements
Tourist / Business Visa – Malawi
- The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months.
- One visa application form (photocopy allowed).
- Photocopies of Applicant's Passport.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
- A typed covering letter from the Applicant / Company stating the purpose of travel, duration of stay required and type of visa (single or multiple).
- An Invitation letter from sponsor in Malawi.
- Hotel Confirmation.
- Daily Itinerary and Air tickets.
- Proof of funds (foreign exchange endorsement on the passport OR copy of Credit Card).
- Bank statement for the last 3 months.
- Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate (valid for 10 years, beginning 10 days after vaccination).
- Embassy issues an approval letter and the visa will be stamped on arrival.
- Visa processing time is minimum 3 working days.
