Republic of Macedonia – Visa Requirements

Tourist / Business Visa

Application for visa.
Valid and recognized travel document (passport) with a validity period of at least 3 months longer than the intended stay.
Photocopy of the passport (biodata pages).
Two color photographs on a white background (3.5 x 4.5 cm).
Proof of payment of visa application examination fee.
Travel insurance documents (individual or group) issued by an insurance company in the country of residence.
Documents providing the purpose of stay (letter of guarantee from a natural person or invitation from a legal entity verified by a notary public in Macedonian language).
Proof of sufficient financial means (bank statement, credit cards, traveler’s checks, real property, etc.).
Bank statement for last 3 months (for business).
Income tax return for last 3 years (for business).
Confirmed return air ticket.

Application for visa.
Completed Form RD 2/1 (available at the Embassy on request).
Photocopy of the passport (biodata pages).
Color photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm) on a white background.
Proof of registration/admission of the trade company or branch offices (issued by the Central Registry of Macedonia).
Written notification of the local office of the Employment Agency (not older than 30 days).
Explanation of the need for employing a foreigner.
Statement of the applicant (as per RD 2/1 form requirements).
Information about the economic-financial situation of the entity.
Certificate from the Public Revenue Office for paid taxes.
Signed employment contract (between employer and applicant).
Verified application for the need of an employee.
Proof of education/professional competence (with mandatory Macedonian translation by court-appointed translator).
Document from competent Macedonian authority confirming fulfillment of legal conditions.
Proof of language skills (certificate of competence in Macedonian language).
Completed application for issuing/extending temporary residence permit (Form 2, MoI).
Proof of health insurance (with mandatory translation into Macedonian by court-appointed translator).
